It’s always helpful to periodically examine the biblical patterns for Worship. Actually, it’s a good practice to examine these often as our culture has strongly injected entertainment into much of our life, including our worship experience.
What Dr. Robbins does in this message is not focus on the form or method of Worship but presents the significant aspects of Worship that influence and impact our personal worship of Creator God.
The text for our Bible study comes from the 8th chapter of the book of Nehemiah - a book that is unfamiliar to many. In this text we’ll find several aspects of Worship that will enrich our relationship with God if we ONLY practice them. Thomas Q. gives a wonderful definition of “preaching.” Listen for it.
This lesson, ”Forgotten Aspects of Worship,” is intended to help us understand several aspects of personal and corporate Worship that can be gleaned from the passage in Nehemiah and the worship they had at the completion of the rebuilding of the wall.
